Do I need to register for GST?

You must register for GST if:

  • you are running a business and your annual turnover is $75,000 or more (or $150,000 for a non-profit organisation)
  • you provide taxi or limousine travel for fares as part of your business, regardless of GST turnover

You can also register if your turnover is less than the thresholds.
