About Find An Adviser
Find An Adviser is a searchable database of accountants, bookkeepers,
lawyers and business advisers. It is an initiative from Business Victoria, part
of the Victorian government's Department of Business and Innovation (DBI).
Your use of Find An Adviser, including any of the content or
materials on it, is governed by the following terms and conditions. Your use of
Find An Adviser signifies your acknowledgement and acceptance
of these terms and conditions.
Using Find An Adviser
You can search for advisers by: suburb or postcode, industry, expertise and language.
You can also use Find An Adviser to get a referral to an adviser
for a free 30 minute consultation, a service which is available from some, but not
all, of the advisers within the database.
There are no restrictions on the number of searches you can carry out using Find
an Adviser. However, there are restrictions on using the referral function. By
using Find An Adviser, you agree to follow these rules about
the number of referrals you receive. You may request:
- Only one free consultation per adviser, at any time.
- No more than three consultations in total, per calendar year.
The 30 minute free consultation is intended to determine whether there is a suitable
match between you and the adviser. Ongoing engagement is entirely a matter between
you and the adviser. The Victorian government accepts no responsibility for any
negotiation or arrangement, financial or otherwise, between you and the adviser.
The Victorian government accepts no responsibility and no liability for any advice
offered to you by the adviser.
Links to other websites
Find An Adviser includes links to other websites operated by
other government bodies, non-government organisations and individuals. These linked
sites will have their own terms and conditions of use and you should familiarise
yourself with these. The Victorian government makes no warranty or representation
